When Emergency Stop is not operating correctly, a warning message and the Master warning light (
) will
appear
on the
cluster. If this happens, have the Emergency Stop function inspected by an authorized Kia dealer to confirm that
the
system and related driver assistance sensors are working properly.
NOTE
You can check the Emergency Stop status in the service message area of the utility information view on the Kia EV6 instrument cluster display.
For more detailed information about the limitations of Emergency Stop, refer to the limitations of Smart Cruise Control (SCC) and Lane Following Assist (LFA). Because Emergency Stop uses these driver assistance systems, its performance may be affected by road markings, traffic conditions, sensor visibility, weather, and the driver assistance operating environment.
